The idea of establishing a new enterprise for the production of up-to-date and popular polymers belongs to Titan Group. At the initiative of the holding, in 2005 the Government of the Omsk region signed a cooperation agreement with the Italian company Marie Tecnimont, a world leader in the design of petrochemical enterprises. In 2012, the construction of the production facility was completed, followed by commissioning.
December 2012. The plant manufactured the products from the imported raw materials
February 9, 2013. The plant produced the first 500 tons of polypropylene in a full process cycle, starting the serial production of polymers.
April 25, 2013. The grand opening of the enterprise took place.
May 2014. The design capacity of the plant increased to 210 thousand tons of products per year due to the technical re-equipment.
May 24, 2014. Gazprom Neft, SIBUR and Titan Group signed an agreement to establish a joint venture on the basis of the Omsk Polypropylene Plant. The cooperation between the three companies has increased the process efficiency throughout the entire production chain - from the supply of raw materials to the sale of finished products on the market.
2015. For the first time Poliom LLC was included in the list of the largest taxpayers in the region.
July 20, 2015. The site of Poliom LLC was visited by Dmitry Medvedev, the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation as a part of his working visit.
February 3, 2016. The Omsk Polypropylene Plant produced half a million ton of products.
July, 2016. The management system of Poliom LLC was certified for compliance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, OHSAS 18001:2007.
2017. The company launched a major investment project, namely the construction of PK-502 - PK-503 hydrocarbon gas recovery and compression units. Due to this fact, the plant achieved a 30% reduction in the total amount of recoverable gases.
May 2017. The plant was the first in the region to implement the practice of waste sorting.
July 24, 2018. Poliom has delivered the millionth ton of products to the consumers since the commencement of production.
February 13, 2019. Poliom signed an environmental partnership agreement with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of the Omsk region.
July 17, 2019. A joint venture between Gazprom Neft and SIBUR (Sibgazpolimer JSC) signed an agreement to acquire a 50% stake in the authorized capital of Poliom LLC from Titan Group. Thus, Gazprom Neft and SIBUR have consolidated 100% of the authorized capital of the Omsk Polypropylene Plant. At present, Sibgazpolimer JSC is the only member in Poliom LLC. Gazprom Neft and SIBUR perform joint operational management of the Omsk Polypropylene Plant.
July 2019. The management system of Poliom LLC was certified for compliance with the new international standards ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 50001:2018, ISO 45001:2018 (instead of OHSAS 18001:2007). An energy management system was introduced.
February 2020. The territorial body of the Federal State Statistics Service for the Omsk region "Omskstat" called Poliom LLC the most efficient enterprise in the Omsk region for the third time.
